Price Accuracy Policy

We record prices from authorized sources – retailer APIs, affiliate and merchant feeds, and manual checks – and show when each price was last checked.

• Validation: zero, negative, malformed and unsupported-currency prices are rejected automatically.
• Review: sudden, extreme changes (for example $999 to $9.99) are held for manual verification before they are published.
• No overwrites: a failed or invalid update never replaces a valid stored price.
• History: charts and averages use only prices we recorded. We never estimate or back-fill missing history.
• Demo data: any sample data is clearly marked and is not real pricing.

Prices can change between our last check and your visit, and the retailer’s checkout price always applies. If you spot an error, please tell us via the Contact page.
